Redneck Remarks
While I am too pukey to sit up straight (you know it's bad when the sight of an open bottle of Bruciagna Chianti 2000 makes me burst into tears of revulsion) may it please you to read Austin's own Redneck Mother's great post on the futility of government regulation of the frustratingly un-machinelke human uterus. It makes an excellent, if somewhat more erudite, bookend to my recent vulgar musings on the "rights" of human sperm.
I have met Redneck Mother in the flesh. She's the real deal.
I don't recall ever seeing vulgar musings here.
"Vernacular," sure.

Thanks for the blog recommend. Sorry the chemo is so rough - I am very glad to hear the cancer didn't migrate, though (sounds like a herd of buffalo, doesn't it? Migrating cancer!). Anyway - hope you feel better soon. My friend said soda crackers helped with the nausea - same as when she was pregnant.

Regardless of everything else, sorry you feel so bad.
Hang in there, kiddo.

Twisty, you are too kind. May you soon be able to gaze upon wine without torment.

Twisty, you might ask your doctor about Marinol. My mother took it during her chemo for ovarian about 10 years ago, and it made it possible for her to keep the food down.

Yes, Redneck Mother does kick ass. As do you, Twisty. Which is why it's not surprising that the other night I was inspired by the synergistic effect of Redneck/Twisty to write my own musings (neither as vulgar or erudite, but musings
nonetheless). Thank you (and Redneck) for once again inspiring me.

Redneck mother is, indeed, the real deal. I'm so glad you linked up that blog post by her - it's definitely one of my favorite blog offerings, ever.
